How long have you been with the Estée Lauder Companies?

I started in March 2012 at the Estée Lauder brand as a make-up artist. I held that position for just under two years, before moving to Jo Malone London as a Senior Stylist. Since then, I progressed to Assistant Manager, now holding the position of Boutique Manager for the Regent Street store - which I love!

What made you want to join The Estée Lauder Companies?

From a child I was brought up with the brand within my home. My mother wore ‘Beautiful’ by Estée Lauder. It’s a completely universal product, yet so bespoke to my childhood memories. I wanted to be a part of that heritage and create my own memories within the Estée Lauder Companies brand and be proud to work for a family business.

What's your favorite part of what you do?

It is so important to make the customers experience at Jo Malone London memorable, ensuring they feel special with a warm, friendly welcome. One of my favourite parts of the day is when I’m at the Tasting Bar giving a customer a bespoke service. It’s a great way for them to relax, letting them try products of their choice on their skin whilst enjoying a complimentary, soothing massage. I also love our fragrance combining service, where you guide the customer with selecting a fragrance that’s individual to them, or even creating their own fragrance by layering scents together. I love the variety of choice! Will they choose citrus, floral, fruity, woody, or spicy. The personalisation and individual experience is something I feel so passionate about.

Do you participate in any volunteer or charity activities at The Estee Lauder Companies?

Absolutely. At Jo Malone London we work with a variety of inspirational charities, supporting dedicated projects to raise awareness for mental health. A few of these projects we have supported are wonderful charity gardens that are based all around the UK. As part of the volunteer days we have, I've been lucky enough to visit one of the gardens in London’s Battersea Park. It was so lovely to see first-hand the safe, peaceful environment where individuals can develop their physical and mental health. It's also great fun to get involved with the people that are there and talk to them whilst gardening. Some of the ingredients that we use in our fragrances feature in the gardens too! We also have a lovely range of Charity Home Candles, whereby 75% of the retail price goes to the multiple charities.

Beauty starts within, it radiates and is worn in confidence.
